I've got Windows Ultimate. How do I make it encode Japanese?
My father changed the OS from just plain Windows XP to Windows Ultimate. But now, when I try to install the East Asian Languages, it asks for the disc. I have the Windows XP disc, of course. Well, I HAD it. It's gone, lost, missing!
Now what?
The question was incomplete. Windows Ultimate is not an OS, but rather a sub-classification of Windows Vista or Windows 7. Therefore this question was probably asking about installation of Japanese language capability on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (which has nothing do do with XP discs).
Go to Control Panel and change the Region and Languages settings. When I did this on an English Windows 7 OS machine (perhaps similar to what you are using, unclear from the question), the fonts were already there (after all, they are Unicode), and the front-end Henkan software simply needed to be activated. This should take a minute or so. You will find that standard Windows 7 support for the Japanese language is much better than under XP.

CD Duplication Process Explained in Simple Language
zWhen CD was first introduced, not too many people took to duplicating CDs. However, within a few years, things have changed completely and today one cannot even imagine that there was a time when no-one did CDs duplication work. To say that millions of people across the globe today do CD duplication work would probably be an understatement. They copy data; audio and video onto CDs. CD burning and duplication process are the part and parcel of the present hectic life in present day competitive world.
Let's get down to the core aspects and take a look at how exactly these CDs are duplicated. First of all, we need a master. This is the CD that is going to be duplicated. Then, first need is the blank CD and that will be the one that will duplicate the master onto. You will of course, need the hardware on which the copying is done, which is the computer where you will need to have a CD-RW or DVD-RW drive. Just in case you have an old computer that does not have this drive, you will need to buy one and fit it in.
In case you are thinking of buying this drive, it might be worthwhile to get a DVD-RW drive so you can copy both DVDs and CDs. You can also set the speed with which you want your duplication done. 4x is the slowest speed and 48x is the fastest. Not all drives can duplicate at the very fast speeds however. If your drive can do a 48x speed, your CD will just take a few minutes to be duplicated or CD Duplicator can help you with this.
So you've got the DVD-RW or the CD-RW. You've got the master and you've got CDs on which to need to do duplication work. Now what you need is the software. After completing software-loading process onto your computer, all you have to do is to run the software and then duplicate the required disk. All you have to do is to select the media from the menu that you have on your software and just burn your CD. The great thing is that it is so easy to learn and to do. Duplicating CDs is a whole lot of fun. You can use it to do so much. You can back up your files, you can save your pictures or make a CD of pictures like an album for a loved one, and you can put your music on or a video clip, whatever. Whatever you select to duplicate, you can perform that activity with complete accuracy.
